Petrie
Tara, I will keep your friend in prayer. I only now got to catch up on your posts for the day.
Thanks for the tip on the typing program...we would love to do the same.
Blessings, Petrie

I LOVED learning how to type when I was little. At first I just had a stand-up spiral-bound typing book for the, yes, typewriter, but when we got a computer I used “Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing” and it was my favorite subject.
Boy, has it held me in good stead!

SO fun! I LOVED Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing ... used it for a few minutes every day the summer before I went to law school and brought my typing speed up to warp speed. In fact, I was on Amazon to BUY Mavis Beacon, but when I read the reviews of the current software (buggy / clunky / not good), I did a little research and found this one highly recommended for kids. It was cheap. So I thought I’d give it a try.
But I do miss Mavis. I even tried to get Cap'n Dave to do her software back in my PMM days, but I don’t think he ever got in the typing groove.
Thanks for the prayers, Petrie! And the smile, dear Melodee. Hope your headache leaves soon.
G'nite,

Gotta love that toothless wonder! She is WAY excited about that tooth! (and why shouldn’t she be?) And Ella was a sweet little newborn, but boy- she is just turning into a little beauty!
