Redeeming Church Conflicts

How can I even consider reconciliation when there has been no justice?

I’ve been holding off on “officially” announcing this to you all because Dave and I are still tweaking and improving and trying to make it “just right” (AND I wanted to really roll it out with some sort of big giveaway) …

But Dave’s post today was just so good, that I’m going to give you the sneak-peak into our new blog (RedeemingChurchConflicts.com):

How can I even consider reconciliation when there has been no justice?

I hope you enjoy it (and “like” it on FaceBook and retweet it, etc. etc.). And please do feel free to send us questions! We’re really hoping to serve and bless through this new blog.

(BTW—our actual book won’t be in our hands until May 1, 2012, so all of this is just really, really preliminary. But I have to say, I am sure enjoying getting to be a helper to Dave re: sharing his wisdom concerning conflicted churches.)

On a more personal note, I received some very troubling news this morning re: a broken bone inside of my left knee cap. I’ve been having increasing pain and swelling, but I assumed it was just the normal “bad knees” (chondromalacia / meniscus) stuff that I’ve been dealing with since I was a teenager. But no. It’s more and different and bad and, well, pretty discouraging to me.

(And I was just feeling all hopeful and grateful and thankful because I’m still reading through Ann Voskamp’s great book! Grrrr. Pesky ol’ heart.)

Anyway—I hope that you enjoy Dave’s post and that we are all overwhelmed by the generous, gracious, abundant mercy of God in Christ. (And I hope that you don’t have any broken bones in your knee!)

Your friend,
Tara B.
